I said there would be fic, and lo! here is fic. Seven drabbles, to be precise. When I first opened this window to post, it was only three.

This is mostly because I watched "Five By Five" last week. Also, Wesley is my favourite character.

I wasn't going to write a House fic. But then I remembered how much I liked Wilson is 97 Seconds. This might be the first time I've named a Wilson brother. Everyone has their own list. Mine is Carey, James, Spencer.

[ETA 20/04. Accord has been remixed and re-reading it I discovered that it really should say "she knew she would never shut him up by arguing". I don't know whether that was assumed by the remixer, but it's not a point in the remix, so I've edited the fic here.]

I came off my scooter today.
I'm completely fine. It was the water on the tram tracks, no one hit me.
I am a bit scratched, but really no more than if I had come off a push bike. I wear a lot of protect clothing.
Two people stopped and made sure I was alright and helped me to the footpath.
I was on the way to buy bread, so I walked the rest of the way and walked home thought about my prompt fic-things and then had tea and fresh bread with marmalade and watched the last episode of seson two of SeaChange, which is one of my favourites.

West Wing Drabble

This was written for sangerin who, some uncountable time ago asked for a drabble in which Donna knows something Josh does or knows more than Josh, and that wasn't Josh/Donna. I hope this serves.

Josh had been contemplating lunch when Donna returned with his proofread statement and a disappointed look.

“Come on, Donna, they’re senators; they’re used to be people calling them names.”

Donna scanned her notes.

“Senator Cotton’s son died in car accident six years ago. Brennan’s gay—I can’t believe you didn’t know that. And Velik’s mother was a prostitute. That came out while you were in hospital. Are you even allowed to print that?” she asked, pointing at a highlighted line.

Josh grabbed the file back and picked up a pen.

“Can I call them incompetent, self interested hacks?”

“That’s okay.”

It's been 2006 here for a little over seventeen hours, and so far I like it. It's been raining for at least three of those hours (I think) and I feel that this is a good start to the year. Certainly after the 42.1 (107.8) degrees we had at 7pm last night.
